Guerrilla Marketing for a Dating App: Here’s How We Did It for RAW
We partnered with RAW, a dating app that values real connection, for a multi-market guerrilla campaign. Activated around the cities of Austin, Denver, and San Diego, the campaign focused on high foot traffic, visibility in everyday places, and unconventional advertising spaces where curiosity and downloads could be initialized.
Our tactics began with with car flyers— these flyers delivered noticeable messages that were placed strategically on cars in front of cafes, on busy streets and university campuses. The next wave were sticky notes, posted on poles, light fixtures, and outdoor common areas. We then worked with local cafes to distribute branded coffee sleeves that would present RAW to their customers and infiltrate their morning rituals. Finally, we strategically placed bookmarks in book stores across these markets for the book lovers.
